What We Were Solving
How We Built It
Custom Divi and PHP build with product catalogues, downloadable spec sheets, a prominent quote system, and a technical SEO foundation that started ranking within weeks. What They Needed
GP Compressors had been running the same website for five years. It was a basic static site with no mobile responsiveness, no product organisation, and a quote request form that was buried three clicks deep. Engineers and procurement teams visiting the site couldn't find product specifications, pricing was unclear, and there was no quick way to request a quote. The site looked outdated compared to competitors and it was costing them business.
What We Built
We designed and developed a custom Divi site with a PHP backend, built specifically around the needs of their actual buyers. Product pages include downloadable spec sheets, comparison tables, and clear pricing tiers. We integrated a quote request system that captures project details upfront so the sales team gets useful information from the first contact.
The site was built mobile-first because their customers include field engineers who look things up on site. We added a product finder tool and placed prominent calls to action throughout the browsing experience so visitors never have to hunt for a way to get in touch.
The Technical Details
On the technical side, we set up proper schema markup, generated an XML sitemap, and optimised Core Web Vitals to give the site a strong SEO foundation from day one. We also built out a content strategy with targeted pieces published over the first few months to help product pages rank for key industrial search terms.
How It Turned Out
The results came quickly. Quote requests increased significantly within the first month. Product pages started ranking for industrial terms that their buyers actually search for. The client reports that procurement teams now regularly reference the spec sheets during purchase decisions, which has shortened their sales cycle. The site went from being a liability to being their best salesperson.
