What We Were Solving

The Core Problem
Southern Route 360 manages multiple tourism packages across South Africa. Their old site didn't showcase experiences well and the booking process was broken across multiple platforms.

How We Built It

Building a custom site with a visual experience gallery, clear package descriptions, and an integrated booking system. Adding content management for seasonal updates and pricing changes.

Tourism Business Needs Online Booking and Content Platform

The Core Problem

Southern Route 360 is a travel and tourism company operating in the Western Cape. They run guided tours and travel experiences but have no online presence. Customers have to phone, email, or meet in person to book. There's no way to showcase their offerings online, no reviews, no easy booking flow. They're missing online sales opportunities.

Word of mouth and personal networks are their only marketing channel. They need a professional website that showcases destinations, tour options, and experiences. Customers should be able to browse, read detailed descriptions, see photos, read reviews, and book directly online. They need a destination-focused site that builds trust and makes booking frictionless.

The project includes site design, destination content pages, tour/experience listings, an integrated booking system, and payment processing. This is a full platform build that will transform their customer journey.

  • No online presence. Customers can't book online.
  • No way to showcase destinations, routes, experiences.
  • No reviews or social proof. Hard to build trust.
  • Booking is manual and offline. Missed opportunities.
  • Competing against businesses with better online platforms.

Destination-Focused Platform with Integrated Booking

We're building a tourism website that showcases the beauty and appeal of Southern Route experiences. Each destination gets a dedicated page with stunning imagery, detailed descriptions, itinerary breakdowns, and pricing. Tours and experiences are filterable by type, difficulty, duration, and price.

The booking system integrates directly into the site. Customers select dates, group size, add-ons, and complete checkout in minutes. Automated confirmation emails and calendar integration for the team. Payment processing through secure gateways. A customer dashboard where repeat bookers can manage reservations.

Destination Showcase

Each destination gets a dedicated page. High-quality imagery. Detailed descriptions. Itineraries. Maps. Weather and best season information. Customer reviews and ratings.

Booking System

Real-time availability. Date and group size selection. Add-on options (meals, transport, activities). Secure checkout. Multiple payment options. Automated confirmations.

Customer Accounts

Sign up and login for returning customers. Saved preferences and bookings history. Manage reservations. Leave reviews. Easy repeat bookings for loyal customers.

Admin Dashboard

View bookings and revenue. Manage availability and pricing. Respond to customer reviews. Track inventory and capacity. Access booking data and reports.

The project is planned for 10 weeks. 1 week content strategy and photography planning, 2 weeks design and site architecture, 3 weeks build and booking system integration, 2 weeks content population, 1 week testing and optimization, 1 week launch.
