What We Were Solving
How We Built It
Full technical SEO overhaul, unique product and category content, a monthly blog strategy, and internal linking that grew organic traffic from zero to a major revenue channel. What They Needed
An online retailer was spending heavily on Google Ads every month with virtually no organic traffic. Every sale depended on ad spend. When they paused ads for two weeks during a cash flow squeeze, revenue dropped to almost nothing. They had no safety net. The site had duplicate content across product variants, no XML sitemap, missing schema markup, and category pages with zero unique content. They needed an organic channel that would generate traffic without constant ad spend.
What We Did
We started with a full technical SEO audit. The list of issues was long: duplicate content, missing canonical tags, no sitemap, no schema markup, and slow mobile load times. We fixed the technical foundation first because nothing else works if Google can't properly crawl and index your site.
Then we built a content strategy around buyer search terms. We rewrote product descriptions with unique, keyword-targeted content. We added unique content blocks to all category pages. We launched a monthly blog targeting buyer research queries and built an internal linking structure connecting blog content to product and category pages. We also optimised their Google Business Profile for local search visibility.
How It Turned Out
Within four months, organic traffic grew from near zero to thousands of monthly sessions. Product pages started ranking for commercial keywords that actually drive purchases. The client was able to reduce ad spend significantly while maintaining the same revenue because organic traffic filled the gap. By month six, organic was driving over a third of total revenue. Nine months in, they had a channel that generates sales without spending on every click.
